Watercolor people and animals

Whilst experimenting with watercolors, this one just popped out of the blue, they all started off in blue and I clothed and shaded them with different colors ... great idea to add people and animals to your paintings without drawing them first.

Mysterious mime of a young girl, finished!  My granddaughter Juane was the model and the title came from Lelanie Rooseboom and of course under Hennie Krugers' guidance.

She's also for sale 15 x 20 cm oil on canvas @ R700.00.

Owl in Watercolours

Not the best photograph ... but I really enjoyed this little exercise a lot!  This one I did using Jean Haines' technique in her book Paint Yourself Calm.  I love her technique and not only is she a great artist but also a great author.
